Being a professional investigation team we are fully covered with Public Liability Insurance. The chances of anything ever going wrong are very slim, but with the nature of what we do it is important to be aware of such things before coming on an investigation.
The Dark: For most of the evening we will be walking around in the dark. In some places you can't see your hand in front of your face, so care and attention must be used. We suggest that at all times you have a torch with you. If you don't have one we can borrow you one.
Buildings not being very safe: What we mean by this is that a lot of buildings we investigate are very old and in need of repair. Special attention to un-even flooring must be used. If somethings gives you a shock and you just run away unaware of the flooring you could trip and hurt yourself. Never happened yet but there is always the risk. Also as in some places there could be bricks or fallen masonry laying about, we will always try to make the room as safe as possibly before starting the vigil but your care and attention is also needed.
Alchol & Drugs: There is strictly no alchol to be consumed before or during the investigation. If you turned up under the influence you will be escorted of the premesis. We are a professional team who is there to do a investigation not a party. All are team love what we do so much that it might as well be a party but without the drink.
Smoke & Fire Hazards: We only permit smoking in specified outdoor zones and we will inform you of these during your stay. Although we may use a candle while we perform seance's etc but these are done under strict saftey regulations, so we ask people not to bring there own.
Behaviour: Ghost investigations by there very nature are very reserved affairs and take a great deal of patience and respect. all are team are very qualified in there fields and no how to act and behave. Disruptive behaviour is not tolerated out of respect to are gusets and the buildings we are honoured to investigate. Throughout the ghost hunt event you and your party will act in a sensible manner and will not cause harm or injury to anyone else, any animal, effect of the property etc.
Personal Belongings: All luggage, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. Manchester Haunted is not responsible for the safe custody of attendees property, for its loss, damage or theft however caused.
Guarantees: As is the case with researching the paranormal you cannot guarantee something to happen. We are a professional team and do not result to cheep thrills. If something happenens on one of our events you can rest assured that it was not done by us. Then you are left with the question, Well what was it then?...... Thats when it gets interesting.
